Graphic Workshop Professional 15 Revision 6

Graphic Workshop Professional 15 has been updated.

In this release:

• Audio Read Performance: The memory management for the MP3 and OGG audio file readers has been refined to enhance their speed... radically. They're way quicker than once they were.
  
  
• Animated Transitions: The memory management enhancement that sped up the aforementioned audio files has had a similar effect on the Animated Transitions window in Graphic Workshop's Image menu.
  
  
• OGG Crash: A bug that could crash Graphic Workshop when OGG files were written under some configurations of Windows is now history, and seriously regrets ever having been born.
  
  
• Raster Filter: The Raster option in Graphic Workshop's View mode Filter window can now create rasters at any angle you like. You don't want to know about the high-school trigonometry that went into making this work.
  
  The Raster filter is a cool effect to make pretty much anything look technological and sophisticated.
  
  
• Archive Manager: Archive Manager will now automatically select all the items in an archive as soon as one is opened, allowing them to, for example, all be extracted with a minimum amount of rodent mileage and clicking. This behavior can be disabled by unselecting the Select All After Open item in Setup.
  
  
• Performance: Several more performance improvements have been implemented throughout the application.
  
  

e-Paint 15 Revision 2

e-Paint 15 has been updated.

• Memory Leak: A resource memory issue that could cause e-Paint to terminate unexpectedly has been addressed.
  
  
• Cloud Textures: The fractal cloud texture generator that appears in e-Paint Fill window has been updated to address a buffer overrun that could crash the software calling it.
  
  
• Fractal Textures: The fractal texture generator that appears in e-Paint's Fill window has been updated to improve its aspect ratio management, such that non-square textures look more natural.
  
  
• Raster Filter: The Raster option in e-Paint's Filter window can now create rasters at any angle you like. You don't want to know about the high-school trigonometry that went into making this work.

• Registration Key Window: To assist users of Alchemy Mindworks' software who encounter issues with the Registration Key window, it now includes helpful audio prompts. It talks. You'll see a message to this effect when you open it to update e-Paint.
  
  We hasten to add that if you don't find the spoken prompts as cool as we did, you can disable them in the initial prompt window, or at any time e-Paint's Registration Key window by clicking on Silence.
  
  Disabling the spoken prompts in any Alchemy Mindworks application will disable them for all our software, for the rest of time... or until you explicitly turn them back on by clicking on Sound in the Registration Key window.
  
  
• WebP: The e-Paint WebP library has been updated to version 1.3.2 to address a security issue. We'd like to take this opportunity to urge all users of Alpha Paint to update to this release.

• Performance: Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that software developers never really stop meddling with.
  
  
• Documentation: Updates the documentation.
