Graphic Workshop Professional 10
RAW Digital Camera and Smartphone Plugin
Revision 2 (second notification)

The RAW Digital Camera Plugin for Graphic Workshop Professional 10 has been updated to address numerous format variations, and to add support for over 100 new cameras.

It currently processes pictures from 1,117 popular digital cameras and phones, including iPhones and the Samsung Galaxy.

If you haven't encountered this technology before, most digital cameras that didn't arrive as a prize in a cereal box create JPEG images by default, but they can be configured to store raw sensor data. Correctly processed, pictures saved to RAW files look vastly better than JPEGs, as they suffer no image degradation.

The "correctly processed" part is this plugin. The RAW Digital Camera Plugin will let you view RAW image files exactly as your camera created them, and store them in a non-lossy format, such as PNG.

PNG MNG Construction Set 10 Revision 7

• Batch Processor: Addresses a number of issues in the PNG MNG Construction Set batch processor that hitherto prevented it from working under some configurations of Windows. We frown on things not working.
  
  
• PNG In-line Graphics: The Export to ILG function — to create in-line HTML animations — can now them as PNG data as well as GIF. This will let you embed true-color animations with millisecond timing and flawless alpha transparency directly in your HTML documents, with no references to external files.
  
  
• Crop: Several user-interface inconsistencies... and a few genuine bugs... have been stomped in the Crop window. Cropped animations now appear in new document windows.
  
  
• Flip and Rotate: Nails a problem in which the background color button didn't always select the color it thought it was selecting.
  
  
• Protection Matrix: The Protection Matrix window — to divide single-image graphics into multiple tiles, such that they're way more difficult to right-click and make off with — has been updated. It creates cleaner HTML, and allows its images to be written to a sub-folder.
  
  
• Performance: Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that software developers never really stop meddling with.
       
  
• Documentation: Updates the documentation.

Presentation Wizard 10 Revision 3

• JPEG Library: The library that reads and writes JPEG documents — or .JPG files — has been updated to the latest release. This addresses a potential stability issue, and it improves the already light-speed JPEG management in Presentation Wizard
  
  We urge all users of Presentation Wizard to update to the current release and nail these vulnerabilities before they nail you.
  
  
• Legacy Windows Support: A fairly ruthless review of the Presentation Wizard document runtime has identified a number of legacy Windows issues — support for features of Windows that are deprecated, or no longer exist. Dispatching this functionality to the furthest reaches of time has made the runtime, and hence all Presentation Wizard documents, quicker and less demanding of memory and system resources.
  
  
• Page Editor: Several user-interface issues in the page editor have been addressed.
  
  
• Performance: Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that software developers never really stop meddling with.
       
  
• Documentation: Updates the documentation.
