Graphic Workshop Professional 10
Revision 9
(additional notification)
|
Graphic Workshop
Professional 10 has been updated. Among its new and
updated features are:
- JPEG Library:
The library that reads and writes JPEG documents —
or .JPG files — has been updated to the latest
release. This addresses a potential stability
issue, and it improves the already light-speed
JPEG management in Graphic Workshop and its
ancillary applications.
- Scan to
View: In addition to scanning to
documents, Graphic Workshop can now scan to its
View window, from whence you can edit, process,
crop and ultimately save your scanned images.
Hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard when you
click on the Scan button in the Graphic Workshop
tool bar to use the scan to View option.
- Print
Workshop: Addresses an issue in Print
Workshop that could cause it to crash if it was
asked to print a paletted graphic, under some
configurations of Windows.
- JFIF
Association: Adds a link to the list of
associated file types to support JFIF files, an
alternate extension for JPG.
- GWS
Camera Preview: Adds an option to the GWS
Camera screen capture to allow your captures to be
previewed before they're written to graphic files.
- Reset
Blocker: Addresses a reporting issue in the
Application Reset Blocker. The Application
Reset Blocker will assist you in preventing
Windows from periodically resetting your
selected applications for opening documents to
its default choices, such as the Edge web
browser and the Photos viewer.
- Performance:
Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues
that software developers never really stop
meddling with.
- Documentation:
Updates the documentation.
If you haven't installed Graphic Workshop Professional
10 yet, you might want to review a more extensive list

functionality and enhancements.

e-Paint 10 Revision 5
|
e-Paint 10 has
been updated. Among its new and enhanced features are:
- JPEG Library: The library that
reads and writes JPEG documents — or .JPG files — has been
updated to the latest release. This addresses a
potential stability issue, and it improves the
already light-speed JPEG management in e-Paint
and its ancillary applications.
We urge all
users of e-Paint to update to
the current release and nail these vulnerabilities
before they nail you.
- Drawing
Engine: A number of metrics and performance
issues in the drawing engine underlying e-Paint
have been addressed.
- Registration
Keys: Updates the registration key and
account validation logic to fix a number of common
entry issues.
- File
Menu thumbnails: Improves the performance of
the Windows thumbnail interface so the File menu
appears with pretty much no detectable delay.

Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues
that software developers never really stop meddling

The Ultimate Screen Clock 10 Revision
3
(second notification)
|
The Ultimate
Screen Clock 10 has been updated. Among its new and
enhanced features are:
- Quicksilver:
Adds the Quicksilver clock style. Bright, shiny,
metallic, quirky — we might also describe it as
mercurial, save that it would be a loathsome pun — this is the
clock to enhance your desktop if your favorite color
is chrome and your favorite consumer product is car
wax. Comes in a traditional digital style, in two
sizes, and in animated dissolve versions. Sunglasses
are recommended.
- Screen
Saver Backgrounds: Adds a number of new
fractal screen saver backgrounds.
- JPG:
The library that reads and writes JPEG documents —
or .JPG files — has been updated to the latest
release. This addresses a potential stability
issue, and it improves the already light-speed
JPEG management in The Ultimate Screen Clock.
The improved JPG speed will probably be most
noticeable in the screen saver.
We urge all users of The Ultimate Screen Clock to
update to the current release and nail these
vulnerabilities before they nail you.
- Performance:
Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues
that software developers never really stop meddling
with.
- Documentation:
Updates the documentation.

Clock 10.
Extra Styles
In addition to
The Ultimate Screen Clock itself, the extra styles
library for The Ultimate Screen Clock 10 has also been
updated. Its download buttons can be found by clicking
on the above DOWNLOAD NOW button, right after those of
the clock itself. We recommend that users of The
Ultimate Screen Clock also install the new extra styles
library to access its full palette of available clock
styles.

Screen Clock 9, we invite you to upgrade to The
