Graphic Workshop Professional 12 Revision 9

Graphic Workshop Professional 12 has been updated.

In this release:

  • File Tips: A bug has been discovered in Graphic Workshop file tip logic, the small yellow windows that appear if you hover your mouse cursor over a browser item. Depending on your configuration of Windows, this issue could cause Graphic Workshop to leak memory and GDI resources and eventually crash, or destabilize Windows.

    It has been ruthlessly stomped.

We urge all users to update to the current release of Graphic Workshop Professional 12 as quickly as possible.

  • Annotate: The Graphic Workshop Annotate windows have been updated to allow them to be resized. The first time you open one, it will adjust itself to occupy most of your desktop, and it will thereafter remember your size preferences between sessions. The larger Annotate windows make it easier to see what complex captions will look like.

The Annotate windows now allow way larger maximum font sizes as well, for those times when you want the captions for your pictures to be visible from space.

  • Transform: The Graphic Workshop Transform window has been updated to prevent its factor and size fields from accepting blank entries, which could cause them to behave unpredictably.

  • Animation Workshop UltraLight: An issue that caused the Animation object Preview window to display some peculiar cosmetic issues has been addressed. As this feature is intended to illustrate what your animations look like in the context of your completed animation Workshop UltraLight document, cosmetics are everything.

If you haven't experienced Graphic Workshop Professional 12 as yet, please see its initial release announcement for a list of all its new and enhanced functionality.

  • Setup: A bug that could cause the Animation Workshop Setup window to crash the application under some configurations of Windows has been stomped.

  • Performance:Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that software developers never really stop meddling with.
